Million Kisses

If kisses were dollars my baby would have her college fund filled already.  I don't know what it is about their tiny heads, feet & legs but they are absolutely irresistible and must be kissed constantly.  Especially when she was a newborn, she wasn't able to interact quite as much so I would literally spend the entire day looking at her and kissing the top of her head.

My favorite kisses to witness are those given by Grammy Nita.  She leans in very closely to judge the distance and at the moment she feels contact with Emmy's soft little skull she places a soft and gentle smooch.  Immediately following she has the most content look on her face. I've bought my mother various gifts over the years, cooked her "thank you" meals and even dedicated my graduation speech to her, but I think the best gift I've given her is this little being.  The love between the two of them is indescribable and totally played out in those little moments when Emmy gets a smooch from her Grammy.
